While all of MLB and A’s fans are distracted by their awesome play in the 2026 season, some forget that the stadium of the future is being built at the same time this lousy article is being written.
The real A’s haters are the ones whose blood is boiling as the stadium’s foundation settles.

The real question is, will you let all that hate fester in you to the point where you never set foot in the new stadium in Las Vegas, or will it be something you happen to check out while partying it up in Sin City?
It could even be something that you, as an A’s fan, can’t wait to see since it’s been more than 30 years since Oakland and the A’s were supposedly ‘working’ on a deal.
Truth be told, John Fisher did what had to be done, and the A’s are getting a state-of-the-art cathedral for baseball, and while it’s sad it’s not in Oakland, it’s still joyous that it’s even happening at all.
Test Series in Vegas Before the Move in 2028

Since then, there have been tons of advancements, and even the A’s have started to promote their VIP club lounges. Now it looks like there’s no turning back; things are more than in motion as the foundation has settled in.
While the concrete is settling in, those who are unsure whether the stadium is actually being constructed can take a peek for themselves, as the Sacramento A’s are traveling to Las Vegas (June 8th-14th) to entertain fans with what it’ll be like in Sin City during the scorching summer. Nothing to see here, as the A’s are playing at their minor league affiliate’s Las Vegas Aviators stadium, another minor league stadium for fans to enjoy.
On the bright side, the A’s can only pull this crap one more year before it’s gloves off in Vegas.

You might think that A’s fans and detractors view this as a big kick in the nuts, but it’s actually a good thing for those looking to profit from season tickets or who might be slightly interested in the stadium/game/move. Buyer beware, though. 81 games is a hard sell no matter where it is, and no one can predict the state of the franchise by the time the A’s complete the transition to their new home.
If the past couple of years are any indicator, it proves that the A’s have a swinging chance at entering Sin City as a hot commodity. Let the recent fiasco involving the Las Vegas Raiders serve as an indicator of what could go wrong. Yes, over the first couple of years, as the team is competitive, you’ll make some money, but right as soon as they’re in the slumps, so are ticket prices.
So, like anything in Vegas, it’s a gamble on going all in on season tickets.
