Raise Of Hands Who Had A’s In First?
I’m tired of being right, especially when it comes to the Sacramento Athletics, soon to be Las Vegas Athletics.
Or, if you’ve heard a rumor that the A’s might change their name due to an old domain name that was changed, we can get into that when it’s verified and happens, but until then, we’ll stick to things that are actually happening. Such as the A’s kicking ass and taking names while at the same time finishing their state-of-the-art stadium in Sin City.
Oh, and don’t blink, but they’re leading the AL West, which is what we all had on our bingo cards, right?
A’s Balling Out
The amount of chatter coming from A’s fans complaining about John Fisher is largely dwindling to a few whispers here and there, unless you’re at an Oakland Ballers game, where it’s expected to be heard and seen. If you want to experience the most recent hate towards the current A’s ownership, I’d highly recommend the Oakland Ballers for you.
Still, if you’re tired of the arguing and embarrassing conversations, then I’d advise against it, and just enjoy the Sacramento A’s baseball while you can before the move to Sin City. In all fairness, let’s give the Baller’s their congratulations as they just won the 2025 championship of the Pioneer League—much respect.
The way things are going, this Sacramento A’s team is looking to go out with a big bang, and Vegas loves fireworks.
Drink Up, Haters
A’s baseball is fun, especially when they’re leading the American League West, which isn’t something that comes around too often, and the last time they accomplished such a feat was in the 2020 season. Of course, it’s still fairly early in the season, and teams have already completed around 40 games, which is about 1/4th of the season.
If the A’s continue on this pace, all the haters might have to drink a pitcher of their own tears. So far, so good.

After 34 games, the A’s are 18-16, which carries a .529 winning percentage, and the next closest teams are 2 games behind, and that’s the good ol’ Texas Rangers. Shea Langieliers and Nick Krutz are crushing home runs at alarming rates, and the power is assisting the more-than-decent pitching. I predict the Athletics to either win the American League West or at least find their way in a Wild-Card playoff game.
With this roster, I look for the A’s to win any Wild-Card matchup; I don’t care who the opposition is.
I feel like the A’s can go toe-to-toe with the New York Yankees, given their current Roster. The Yankees may have the most important hitter, but the Athletics have a plethora of sluggers and better fielders, in my opinion. If confidence gets high enough, I believe this team could compete in a 7-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers, but let’s not get too crazy yet.
Would MLB Allow Playoffs at Sutterhealth Park? Good Question.
Just imagine it, the MLB playoffs at SutterHealth Park in Sacramento. I honestly can’t, as I feel the moment and significance of such an occurrence will be overshadowed by the reality that the game is being played in a minor-league ballpark.
The Tampa Bay Rays were slated to play in a minor-league park but never advanced far enough in the 2025 playoffs. Some speculate that the MLB won’t let the A’s host a series, let alone a single playoff game in Sutterhealth, but hey, this is where the A’s wanted to play.
The way the A’s are playing and winning games, they’re going to put themselves and the MLB in quite the quagmire. All Right.
