Big brother, my A’ss said the Sacramento A’s in 2025.

With the way the Sacramento Athletics ended the season, there’s no reason not to be optimistic about the future, even though it will eventually be in Las Vegas in the next 3 years… supposedly.

Until then, you’re just going to have to sit back and watch them keep up with their I-80 buddies, the San Francisco Giants.

Bigger payroll and barely a better record at 76-86 goes to show you that the A’s ownership is actually closer to making the playoffs than their supposed ‘Big Brother’.

Ever since the days of the Battles of the Bay, it has always been the Giants that have been toting the newer stadium as their trophy while the Oakland A’s cling to one of the slummiest stadiums in all of baseball and the history to back it up.

Honestly, the future for the A’s is brighter than you think, especially when it comes to its I-80 rival. Giants’ old and problematic stadium versus a to-be state-of-the-art open-air Vegas stadium that screams ‘Take me out to the Ballgame’ more than any other in baseball.

The Giants may have the bigger payroll, roster, and supposed fan base, but the enthusiasm is definitely on the Las Vegas A’s side.

Unless you’re this guy, still stewing;

Don’t let this season fool you, as I’ve personally experienced the heat myself at games, temperatures at 90, 82, and 78 degrees Fahrenheit.

It’s good baseball, and for those who don’t live close to San Francisco or Oakland, this is a great opportunity for those in Sacramento and the surrounding areas to witness a great MLB team & stadium.

Great food, great ushers & staff, awesome giveaways, and even better time with family and friends, that’s what baseball is really about & Sacramento and the A’s know how to capture the feeling.

Lightning in a bottle, no, that’s just sports in Sacramento.

Stay tuned as I update you on the atmosphere, the fans, both angry and happy, and how to beat the heat if you decide to come to Sacramento to see the A’s in person live in the next couple of years.
